The Outcome

  • Notice in the panorex that there is a condylar fracture of the left condyle.  
  • There is also a fracture between 21 and 22 that entirely communicates through the body of the mandible.  
  • The fracture is extensive and extends along the lingual and facial aspects of the mandible bilaterally.
  • I immediately called two oral surgeons to see what their thought processes would be.
