  • CC: “I need a cleaning”
  • The lesion was spotted upon initial examination in the maxillary anterior region
  • Non-painful, asymptomatic
  • Tooth #9 was non-vital
  • 8,10, 11 all tested vital
  • Periodontally the patient had generalized adult periodontitis which has a favorable treatment prognosis
