Calcifications/Radiopacities: Case Study

summary

In Summary

Calcifications/radiopacities occur for various reasons and have multiple diagnoses.

The 2D image, although valuable, provided minimal insight into the source.

The 3D image provides a more exact location and more value to the provider and patient for diagnostic and potential treatment.

An interpretation by a certified radiologist can provide us with a better diagnosis and a clearer path forward.

In this case, we will continue to monitor.
