Bony Defect: Case Study

The Patients Dilemma

Despite several surgical attempts at a young age, this patient is left with quite a large bony defect in the facial and palatal area.

Currently, the patient has a metal framework, Maryland Bridge, with pink acrylic and acrylic teeth that have been functional for the past 32 years.

She has not requested or been interested in replacement, yet upon presentation, it was noted that the bridge was loose and we needed a plan going forward.
