Additive, Reparative, or Both?

Treatment & Outcome

We decided to treat with a minimally invasive type of restoration.

Minimal prep overlay on tooth #28. Remove Alloy and DL Cusp and fabricate an onlay on tooth #29.

Both restorations are fabricated from camouflage now (Glidewell), Milled in house.

About the Material:

  • Camouflage now is a 76% filled hybrid ceramic block that mills in about 6 to 8 minutes.
  • No post firing
  • Polishes like a composite resin
