Ecosite One by DMG, guys, this is a very cool composite I just reviewed. Watch my quick video below or read on for more details.
Key Takeaways:
- One shade fits all, shrinking the composite inventory without the yellowing competitive brands exhibit a year down the road.
- 3 mm depth of cure, not 2 mm, allowing for faster cure time
- Versatility. It can be used in Class I, II, III, V and even core build-ups
- Push & Flow. This enables excellent cavity prep adaptation and sculptability at the occlusal table so we can optimize our contour pre-cure
- The DMG reputation. DMG doesn’t try to be someone they’re not. They make a short list of products that are excellent and stand the test of time. Ecosite One falls perfectly in line with that.
Ecosite One is ideal for class ones, twos, and fives. It’s also pretty versatile, meaning we can use it for very conservative preps, all the way through really big preps and core buildups on patients of all ages.
This is what I like a lot.
⭐️ One, it’s on point with the whole “one shade fits all” posterior formula that we’re seeing today, which means we’re going to get seamless integration with one shade across multiple shades.
⭐️ The Push and Flow Effect developed by DMG is brilliant. We get excellent cavity wall adaptation, and we get flexible sculptability at the occlusal table.
So, if you’ve ever taken a hands-on course from me, you know I like to get to final contour before I cure. I can place it at three millimeters rather than two and wrap and cure it at 10 seconds.
Now some of you are saying that you already do that. But please don’t cheat with your two-millimeter composites. Be cognizant of the instructions for use and pay attention to the shade you’re using because of the darker shades they need more cure time.
So after this test drive guys I am liking Ecosite One a ton true to DMG form. They don’t make a lot of products they just make the ones they make at a very high level.
